Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of catering management experience in a large venue or arena
  • experience in food preparation, inventory management, cost control, scheduling, and purchasing
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
  • ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of catering management experience in an arena or other large venue required
  • experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing
  • proficient understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • previous catering software experience preferred
  • must be available to work all event days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Partner with clients, guests, and catering team members to deliver exceptional events that exceed expectations
  • oversee all aspects of catering event execution, ensuring quality, service, and adherence to budgetary guidelines
  • coordinate staffing and logistics with operations managers, and maintain accurate event documentation for service effectiveness
  • design customized catering menus in collaboration with clients and culinary leadership while driving repeat and new business opportunities
  • recruit, coach, and manage team members, including hiring, payroll accuracy, and performance reviews to build a high-performing events team
