Job Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in high volume catering management
  • Prior work experience in corporate dining, hotels or hospitality venues
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Availability to work weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years of high volume catering management experience in corporate dining setting, hotels or high-end hospitality industry venues
  • Exemplary attention to detail in executing and delivering events to exact specifications
  • Prior experience with Cater Trax or similar program is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Two-year Associate's degree in Culinary Operations or Hospitality degree preferred
  • Ability to lift and move food, food containers and other non-food items up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Manage, oversee and monitor multiple events including breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, receptions, happy hours and campus-wide special events
  • Accurately coordinate orders and deliveries in a timely manner for set-up and breakdown of events
  • Take inventory of catering supplies and order new stock weekly as needed
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Deliver, set-up and remove foods according to event layout and schedule
  • Communicate regularly with staff and manage the team to ensure delivery of quality product and service
  • Represent the company in a professional, courteous and friendly manner in all client and employee interactions
