Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation certification
- valid Food Handler's certificate if required
- valid Alcohol Service Permit if required
- basic computer proficiency
- working knowledge of Point of Sale and timekeeping systems
- cash handling abilities
- ability to work variable schedule including evenings and weekends
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to project professional manner and appearance
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent of two-year college or technical school

- familiarity with inventory cost control and menu planning
- basic computer proficiency including email, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft 365
- working knowledge of Point of Sale and timekeeping systems
- cash handling abilities and basic math skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to project professional manner and appearance and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and the public
Job Duties
- Manage catering operations, catering staff, warehouse inventory, and Bypass Point-Of-Sale application
- assist in effective management of Catering and Concessions operations
- ensure total compliance with all alcohol service policies
- monitor alcohol service during events for compliance
- provide ongoing direction, supervision, and mentoring to hourly event staff
- assist troubleshooting technical problems with Point-of-Sale systems
- assist with vault opening, closing and balancing as necessary
- assist with scheduling and staffing for catering front-of-house personnel
- generate employee staffing charts and verify employee times and assignments
- oversee linen requirements, stock levels, ordering and receiving
- manage catering from set-up to tear down including communication with staff, culinary staff and guests
- meet with clients and promoters to market and sell catering services
- maintain costing and pricing for menus and services
- process and coordinate client requests and special needs
