Job Requirements
- College degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in catering or food industry
- Proven leadership and people skills
- Proficient in English communication
- Spanish is a plus
- Ability to calculate food and beverage quantities
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Suite
- Experience with CaterEase preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and independent decision making

- Capable of independent decision-making based on event and department needs
Job Duties
- Creates requisitions for each event with all event details
- Meets with chefs weekly to verify event details and menu items
- Assists catering team during event setup following buffet and served meal standards
- Supervises hourly catering staff ensuring readiness and adherence to service standards
- Trains staff on hospitality and various event styles
- Manages inventory and ordering of disposables, beverages, and linen
- Prepares equipment pull lists and supervises equipment logistics and sanitation
- Creates weekly schedules and manages day-to-day shift coverage
