Job Requirements

  • full-time availability averaging 50 hours per week including evenings and weekends
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage high-volume operations
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • customer-focused attitude
  • proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • experience with event planning and client relationship management

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience including 5+ years in catering management
  • degree in hospitality management, culinary, or related field preferred
  • skilled in planning and executing catered events
  • ability to manage budgets, cost control, pricing, billing, and sales reporting
  • experience supervising catering operations and implementing systems
  • proven ability to train, mentor, and manage catering staff

Job Duties

  • oversee budget and catering accountability for one location or unit if volume is less than $100k
  • meet with customers to plan events including menu, guest count, timeline, and pricing
  • lead and assist chefs and catering assistants before and after events
  • develop catering systems for growth, innovation, and excellent customer service
  • plan menus according to customer expectations and budget
  • manage cost control, collection agents, verification and billing of sales
  • prepare proper sales reporting
