SanTan Brewing Company is a well-established brewery and restaurant located in Chandler, AZ, part of the Phoenix metro's East Valley. Founded in 2007, SanTan Brewing Company continues to operate a 15-barrel brewery and restaurant in its original downtown Chandler location. Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience minimum two years
  • Must obtain Maricopa County food safety certification within 30 days
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in loud, hot, or wet kitchen environment
  • Ability to multitask and follow standard procedures
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen and food truck equipment
  • Physical ability to bend, lift, stand for prolonged periods and work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly and occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of culinary experience
  • Maricopa County accredited food safety certification within 30 days of hire
  • Passion for culinary excellence with skill to create new dishes
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Proven ability to work well with staff and influence performance positively
  • Openness to learn new techniques and improve skills
  • Skilled in guest interaction

Job Duties

  • Check quality of food prepared including taste, temperature and visual appeal
  • Ensure all dishes are uniform and portion sizes adhered to
  • Prepare daily preparation sheets for hot and cold side
  • Ensure production of hot and cold side is completed and stored properly
  • Troubleshoot food and kitchen or food truck related issues
  • Hire and train new catering cooks and dish crew
  • Ensure kitchen and food trucks are clean and orderly
