Job Description

SanTan Brewing Company is a well-established brewery and restaurant located in Chandler, Arizona, within the Phoenix metropolitan area's East Valley. Since its inception in 2007, the company has grown significantly while maintaining a strong local presence with its original 15-barrel brewery and restaurant in downtown Chandler. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years culinary experience
  • Maricopa County accredited food safety certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in hot, humid, loud, and potentially slippery environments
  • Ability to operate kitchen and food truck equipment safely
  • Physical ability to bend, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely including up to 55 lbs regularly and occasionally 165 lbs

Job Duties

  • Check quality of food prepared in the kitchen constantly for taste, temperature, and visual appeal
  • Ensure all dishes are uniform and adhere to established portion sizes
  • Prepare daily preparation sheets for hot and cold side
  • Ensure proper production and storage of hot and cold side before end of day
  • Troubleshoot food and kitchen/food truck related situations
  • Hire and train new catering cooks and dish crew
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen and food trucks
  • Ensure compliance with Maricopa County Health Department regulations
  • Lead by example promoting a respectful and team-minded environment
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
