Job Requirements

  • a.s. degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, with an emphasis on quality, cost control, sanitation, and presentation
  • proficiency with microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint), outlook, email, and internet tools
  • servsafe certification strongly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, with an emphasis on quality, cost control, sanitation, and presentation
  • proficiency with microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint), outlook, email, and internet tools
  • extensive catering experience is a major plus
  • high-volume, complex foodservice management experience is highly desirable
  • servsafe certification strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • develop and execute regular and modified menus that align with established culinary guidelines and client needs
  • train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff in food preparation, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation
  • establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for all culinary workspaces and equipment
  • oversee inventory levels to meet operational demands while achieving cost-control targets
  • ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • maintain an exceptional standard of culinary quality, presentation, and consistency
  • perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the catering program
