Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years catering leadership experience
  • proven catering operations and logistics management
  • strong passion for food and hospitality
  • ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficient with computers and Google Suite tools
  • degree from culinary institute preferred but not required
  • knowledge of food and workplace safety
  • ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • willing to support health and safety culture
  • ServSafe Certification and union management experience are advantages

Job Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred but not required
  • minimum 2 - 4 years Chef de Cuisine or Catering leadership experience
  • proven experience managing catering operations and logistics
  • strong passion for great food and hospitality
  • ability to manage budget, inventory, and ordering
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • proficient in computer and technical skills including Google Suite
  • managing in a Union environment is a plus
  • ServSafe Certification is a plus
  • deep knowledge of food and workplace safety protocols and compliance

Job Duties

  • Lead a high-impact catering program aligned with brand standards
  • manage workplace and food safety including allergen management and large-scale production schedules for events
  • design, manage, and own the overall catering experience including menus and event touchpoints
  • exhibit versatile cooking skills across various methods
  • maintain quality food preparation from kitchen to event
  • adhere meticulously to all menu specifications and production guidelines
  • set a standard of friendly, engaging, and professional hospitality at all events
  • develop, mentor, and elevate a high-achieving culinary team culture
  • drive financial performance by adhering to budgets and forecasts
  • ensure all products and ingredients comply with purchasing standards and sustainability commitments
