Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in catering or food service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage safety and employee development
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in catering operations or similar high-volume food service environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing in a union environment is a plus
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage and enforce workplace and food safety standards including allergen management
  • Design and oversee the overall event experience including logistics and presentation
  • Process and fulfill daily catering orders accurately
  • Develop and execute specialty menus and event concepts tailored to client needs
  • Train, develop, and schedule catering associates to enhance service and presentation skills
  • Conduct employee reviews and coaching sessions professionally and timely
