Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years experience in catering or related food service management
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with computer software including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to enforce food safety and workplace safety standards rigorously
- Capable of managing multiple event operations simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Commitment to workplace health and safety culture
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent substantial professional experience
- 2-4 years of proven experience in catering operations or similar high-volume food service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools for event planning and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to drive and enhance a culture of food and workplace safety
- Experience managing in a union environment is a plus
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage and enforce workplace and food safety standards including allergen management
- Design and oversee the overall event experience including logistics and presentation
- Ensure all daily catering orders are accurately processed and fulfilled
- Develop and execute specialty menus and event concepts tailored to client needs and budgets
- Train, develop, and schedule catering associates focusing on service, presentation, and policy adherence
- Conduct employee reviews and coaching sessions professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with clients, culinary, marketing, procurement, risk, operations, and people teams to exceed expectations
