Job Description

The Grand Prairie Events and Convention Center in partnership with Epic Central Hilton Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated Catering Sales and Events Coordinator to join their vibrant team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred

Job Duties

  • Be one of the first points of contact for incoming sales calls and respond promptly and professionally
  • Assist with room blocks, group resumes, event orders, banquet event orders and billing details
  • Manage communications with clients regarding key dates such as cut-offs and payment schedules
  • Maintain detailed tracking of pre-event, main event, and post-event activities
  • Gain knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage products, function spaces, and audiovisual offerings
  • Utilize digital sales systems like Delphi and CI/TY and implement sales strategies effectively
  • Participate in internal meetings, training, and reporting sessions
