Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in catering or food service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Capable of supervising staff and ensuring event success
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to catering setup and service

Job Duties
- Supervise staff in the absence of a catering event coordinator ensuring that events are successful
- Professionally and successfully execute all components of the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Prepare silverware and napkins, and perform general stockroom duties
- Provide food and beverage service for buffets, break services, receptions and plated meals
- Assist in other locations as necessary to ensure NC State Dining business needs are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
