- Highly organized with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in basic PC applications (Word and Excel)

Job Duties
- Join our Constellation Culinary team as an experienced and motivated Catering Event Manager
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning, directing, and coordinating catered events
- You will assist with menu selection, staffing, and facility arrangements, while effectively communicating with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of events and build lasting client relationships
- Ensure all event information in CaterXpert is accurate and detailed before deadlines
- Review event floor plans, supervisor packets, and rental equipment to ensure accuracy and proper distribution
- Communicate company procedures, standards, and expectations to event staff on-site
- Assist in event setup and execution, maintaining a smooth operation
- Coordinate event rentals for efficient delivery and pickup
- Manage the calendar of events and attend all necessary meetings and calls
- Facilitate communication with sales, culinary, and booking teams regarding menus and client requirements
- Oversee payment collection and ensure timely submission of all related financial documents
- Make quick, effective decisions in response to unexpected challenges during events
- Lead and manage event staff, ensuring accountability and discipline as required
- Follow up with photographers post-event for photos
- Act as the first point of contact for general inquiries
- Process event closeouts promptly after each event
- Send out nightly event reminders to internal team members
