Job Requirements

  • Two years experience in catering or related food service business
  • Ability to lift and handle medium weight objects up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in variable temperature environments
  • Ability to work from ladders or in awkward positions
  • Completion of a physical exam as part of the hiring process
  • Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience in catering or related food service business
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks during events
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training and supervising staff

Job Duties

  • Coordinate with the customer regarding room setup and final service instructions
  • Coordinate with banquet captain for needed equipment
  • Consult with culinary staff for proper plate design and serving of meal
  • Supervise student staff at the event
  • Consult with custodial services regarding room setup
  • Assist with training of student staff by conducting or participating in training meetings
