Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of culinary experience in catering, food service, or restaurant settings
- Valid driver's license and insurable Motor Vehicle Record
- Knowledge of professional kitchen equipment and food safety protocols
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members
- Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced work environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of culinary experience in catering, food service, or restaurant settings

- Working knowledge of professional kitchen equipment and food safety protocols

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight timelines
- Punctual, organized, and adaptable to changing event needs
- Available for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food per detailed menu sheets (BEOs), following B&B standards
- Assist the lead Event Chef in event setup and execution, including buffet layout and prep stations
- Pack and transport equipment and ingredients using a catering van
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen and event spaces before, during, and after service
- Ask clarifying questions ahead of events to ensure alignment with the custom menu and logistics
- Assist with event breakdown, including unloading equipment and repacking gear
- Monitor equipment conditions and report needed repairs or replacements
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices
- Represent B&B's brand of caring hospitality at every event
