Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience preferably in related hospitality or event settings
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with POS systems such as Caterease Software and Bypass POS preferred
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • willingness to pass criminal background check
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • must demonstrate professionalism
  • ability to coordinate events and staff efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, country club, private events, convention center, banquet, or sports arena/stadium setting preferred
  • technical proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Word
  • previous administrative experience
  • knowledge of Caterease Software and Bypass POS or similar POS system preferred
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently in stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Generates and distributes content related to upcoming events such as menus, updates, offerings, and pricing
  • collaborates with Manager on planning and coordinating restaurant, private, and special event spaces including publishing room setups, diagrams, and layouts
  • coordinates with Manager and various departments regarding detailed catered event communications
  • develops and disseminates accurate event diagrams based on Catering BEOs
  • produces and communicates weekly Operations Notes for catered events anticipating future needs and setups
  • maintains current and accurate customer files
  • assists with daily part-time staff payroll and time processing
  • executes daytime events coordinating part-time, temporary, and volunteer staff with setup, breakdown, and task execution
  • provides administrative support for Catering and Restaurant and performs additional duties as assigned by Manager
  • researches concerts, special events, and conventions for sales forecasting and operational insights
