Job Requirements

  • High School education
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in institutional food production with catered events
  • Excellent culinary skills in quantity food production and catering
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to stand and lift for prolonged periods

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in institutional food production and catered events

Job Duties

  • Produces food for the patient, cafeteria, catering, and satellite sites
  • Maintains production controls while providing adequate food supplies to assigned areas
  • Maintains safety and sanitation standards of the department
  • Contributes to the achievement of excellence following departmental and hospital guidelines
  • Performs responsibilities of Third Cook and Lead Cook
  • Provides bake shop assistance as needed to meet operational needs
  • Complies with all health and safety regulations
