  • Prior catering experience at the culinary level required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to present food attractively
  • Experience in training junior kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Works closely with private customers and event planners to prepare a variety of food for events as per client specifications
  • Provide the highest possible standard of catering by managing all aspects of catering provision
  • Assist with catering menu development and adjustments when necessary
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and sanitary work environment
  • Manage food inventory and purchasing while controlling food costs
  • Prepare food items in a timely manner
  • Minimize raw material and food wastage
  • Plate and present food attractively
  • Assist in training junior chefs and kitchen support staff
