Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 or 21 depending on state alcohol laws
  • Prior bartending experience especially in event or banquet settings preferred
  • Must have alcohol certification such as TABC if applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced setting standing for long hours
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain professional conduct and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 or 21 depending on state alcohol laws
  • Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in event or banquet settings
  • TABC or other applicable alcohol certification required if in Texas or as mandated
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedule
  • Team-oriented attitude with a professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock the bar before events, ensuring all supplies are ready and available
  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or guest specifications
  • Verify identification and ensure guests meet legal age requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area throughout the event
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service
  • Handle cash and credit transactions if applicable, and complete sales accurately
  • Assist with event breakdown and bar cleanup
  • Work closely with catering staff and supervisors to ensure smooth service
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol laws and company policies
