Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and present Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST)
  • requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lb
  • ability to pass background check
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender preferred
  • thorough knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and mixology
  • ability to mix drinks quickly and accurately
  • ability to make change quickly and accurately
  • demonstrates excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • able to maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and supervisors
  • able to deal courteously and tactfully with the public
  • able to work in a typical bar/lounge atmosphere
  • able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment
  • ideal candidate is available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greets guests and takes orders
  • processes cash and credit card transactions
  • mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification
  • adheres to cash handling policies
  • sets up and breaks down workstations including cleaning and sanitizing
  • takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • provides excellent guest service anticipating guests needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • ensures security of company assets
  • performs other duties as assigned by manager
