Job Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and present Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST)
- requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lb
- ability to pass background check
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred
- thorough knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and mixology
- ability to mix drinks quickly and accurately
- ability to make change quickly and accurately
- demonstrates excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- able to maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and supervisors
- able to deal courteously and tactfully with the public
- able to work in a typical bar/lounge atmosphere
- able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment
- ideal candidate is available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greets guests and takes orders
- processes cash and credit card transactions
- mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification
- adheres to cash handling policies
- sets up and breaks down workstations including cleaning and sanitizing
- takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
- provides excellent guest service anticipating guests needs and ensuring satisfaction
- maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- ensures security of company assets
- performs other duties as assigned by manager
