Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- must be able to obtain and present Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST)
- previous bartending experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally
- strong customer service skills
- ability to adhere to cash handling and alcohol service policies
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred
- thorough knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and mixology
- must be able to obtain and present Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST)
- demonstrates excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lb
- enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment
- ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to mix drinks quickly and accurately
- make change quickly and accurately
- maintain an effective working relationship with fellow employees and supervisors
- deal courteously and tactfully with the public
- work in a typical bar/lounge atmosphere
- read, write and communicate effectively with co-workers and patrons in an English speaking environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests and take orders
- process cash and credit card transactions
- mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- adhere to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification
- adhere to cash handling policies
- set up and break down workstations including cleaning and sanitizing
- take inventory counts and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
- provide excellent guest service anticipating guests needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
- maintain a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- ensure security of company assets
- other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
