Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 21 years or older to comply with alcohol service regulations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods during events
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- One or more years experience bar-backing or similar position in food industry preferred
- Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing event environment
- Ability to be self-directed and work well within a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Responsible to have assigned bars moved and set-up on time according to the Banquet Event Order
- Accountable for all received inventory and storing product while maintaining clean, safe and organized area
- Transport required beverages including beer, wine, liquor, garnishes, ice and mixers to bars for events
- Prepare, stock and re-stock all assigned bars including changing out kegs
- Complete accurate transfer paperwork with bartender every time items are stocked
- Clean, sanitize and organize work spaces and manage garbage disposal
- Communicate respectfully with guests, co-workers and manager on duty
- Monitor guest activity to enforce company policy on outside beverages
- Assist assigned bartender in serving beverages and check IDs as required
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly according to company policy
