Job Requirements
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Willing to train
- Ability to work full-time or part-time including days, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to lift and carry catering equipment
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Must have good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license may be required
- Possess or able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit
- Possess or able to obtain alcohol server’s permit where required
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
Job Duties
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations
- Log and maintain food temperatures
- Arrange tables and decorations
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Thoroughly clean location after event completion
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to facility
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards
- Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment
- Ensure friendly, courteous service to guests
- Maintain knowledge of menu and products
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety and sanitation policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
