Job Requirements

  • previous catering or banquet service preferred
  • availability to work Monday through Saturday including AM and PM shifts
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
  • physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • excellent customer service skills
  • valid driver's license may be required
  • must be willing to obtain a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit if required

Job Duties

  • assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations
  • log and maintain food temperatures
  • arrange tables and decorations
  • arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards
  • serve food and beverages to guests
  • thoroughly clean location after event is completed
  • return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility
  • distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions
  • stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment
  • ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times
  • maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand
  • maintain clean and safe work environment
  • follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times
  • perform other duties as assigned
