Job Requirements

  • Prior serving, bartending, or catering experience preferred
  • Ability to work on call schedule including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown
  • Must maintain food safety standards
  • Must have reliable transportation if driving is required
  • Ability to provide friendly and courteous service
  • Must comply with safety and sanitation policy
  • Must be able to obtain necessary permits as required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license may be required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law

Job Duties

  • Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations
  • Logs and maintains food temperatures
  • Arranges tables and decorations
  • Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards
  • Serves food and beverages to guests
  • Cleans location thoroughly after event completion
  • Returns food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility
  • Distributes and collects customer comment cards
  • Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment
  • Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service
  • Maintains knowledge of menu and products
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment
  • Follows safety and sanitation policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
