Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in catering sales or event management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of creativity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments within the organization

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • 2-3 years previous catering sales and/or event management experience
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills
  • High level of creativity and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various department staff members within the Residence Club
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Respond to all telephone and walk in inquiries regarding external events at Seasons Restaurant and other venue spaces at Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara
  • Supervise the Food & Beverage execution of any Residence Club on-site events
  • Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all personal sales calls
  • Coordinate the sales efforts between sales team and catering needs to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues
  • Conduct tours of the property with potential clients
  • Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs
  • Comfortably entertain appropriate clients
  • Finalize all bookings maximizing all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas
  • Attend and actively participate in all required meetings
  • Prepare a monthly booking report
  • Achieve yearly personal sales booking goals
  • Be fully versed in event space, facilities, and capabilities of competitive market
  • Create and review all banquet event orders and daily and weekly banquet sheets to ensure accuracy in content as well as spelling
  • Provide input on the marketing plan and budget
  • Oversee BEOs and planning for internal events
  • Assist in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase catering activity, volume, and profit
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management and staff
