Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time with a variable schedule including weekdays and weekends
  • Capability to perform physical tasks associated with food service roles
  • Must comply with company policies and maintain drug-free workplace
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a food service or catering environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to train, motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in inventory control and purchasing management
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
  • maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • Operates food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures
  • Helps serves meals
  • remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback
  • Performs other duties as assigned
