Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality, culinary arts or related field
  • strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • excellent communication, organization skills, and attention to detail
  • ability to perform physical activities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
  • ability to remain stationary for periods
  • capable of repetitive motions involving hands and wrists

Job Duties

  • Booking of events
  • selecting and costing menu items
  • pricing as needed
  • coordinate activities with other internal departments
  • participate in management team meetings
  • interface with vendors and key service users within client organization
  • facilitate external customer relations and represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events
  • ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards through checklists and supervision
  • participate in catering training programs and help develop training for employees
  • maintain files at the location
  • print menu signs
  • prepare communication materials for hourly staff including bulletin boards, schedules, and memos
  • maintain a professional image
  • ability to remain stationary for periods
  • perform repetitive motions involving typing and filing
  • complete special projects as requested
