Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of relevant catering or event sales experience
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as required
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Regular attendance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of hotel catering sales or venue/convention center sales experience
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability in client relationship management
- Experience in event documentation and coordination
- Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
- Sales and influencing skills
Job Duties
- Negotiate business through proposals and contracts to close business
- Create and design menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience
- Maintain relationships with corporate and social accounts
- Document and coordinate events with sales, hotel departments, and customers
- Ensure seamless turnover from sales to service to sales
- Recognize revenue opportunities by upselling and offering enhancements
- Serve as primary contact for event planners during on-property events
