Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years hotel catering sales or venue/convention center sales experience
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years hotel catering sales or venue/convention center sales experience
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close business deals
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in event coordination and client relationship management

Job Duties

  • Negotiate business through proposals and contracts to close business
  • Design menus and events to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships with corporate and social accounts
  • Coordinate event documentation and communication between sales, hotel departments, and customers
  • Ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales
  • Identify upselling opportunities to enhance event experiences
  • Serve as primary contact for event planners during on-property phases
