Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of hospitality leadership experience at manager level
  • Working knowledge of Delphi.fdc or similar property management systems
  • Sales or catering experience in hotel or private events
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Solicit and respond to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage, meeting space, and ancillary services from the hotel
  • Search for new business opportunities, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients
  • Negotiate, create, and execute proposals and agreements for meeting rooms, services, and food and beverage
  • Develop strategies to meet or exceed established goals
  • Maximize revenues and control expenses through effective price and service negotiation and forecasting
  • Create banquet event orders, banquet checks, diagrams, estimates, and other related documentation
  • Ring banquet checks, collect deposits and payments, and balance client accounts
  • Communicate event details to respective departments and team members to ensure smooth execution
  • Conduct property tours to promote facilities and services
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and foster client loyalty
  • Respond to internal and external requests promptly and professionally
  • Participate in all relevant internal and external meetings
  • Update Delphi system with client documents, calls, emails, and financial information
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
