Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of hospitality leadership experience at manager level
  • Knowledge of Delphi.fdc or similar property management systems
  • Prior sales or catering experience in hotels or private clubs
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage event logistics
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Willingness to participate in meetings and update relevant systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Solicit and respond to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage, meeting space, and ancillary services from the hotel
  • Search for new business opportunities, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients
  • Negotiate, create, and execute proposals and agreements for meeting rooms, services, and food and beverage
  • Develop strategies to meet or exceed established goals
  • Maximize revenues and control expenses through effective negotiation, pricing, services and accurate forecasting
  • Create Banquet Event Orders, Banquet Checks, Diagrams, Estimates, and all other necessary documentation to ensure proper event logistics
  • Handle banquet checks, collect deposits, payments, and balance client accounts
  • Communicate event details to respective departments and team members to ensure clear execution roles
  • Conduct property tours to promote facilities and services
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Respond to internal and external requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Participate in relevant internal and external meetings
  • Update the Delphi system with client documents, calls, emails, and financial information
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
