Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of hospitality-related experience at manager level
  • familiarity with Delphi property management system
  • experience in hotel sales or catering, or private events sales
  • strong negotiation skills
  • proven sales ability
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of hospitality-related experience at manager level
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • hotel sales or catering experience preferred
  • sales experience in private events or country clubs is a plus
  • strong negotiation and closing skills
  • sales savvy
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop strategies to maximize revenue
  • proficiency in event planning and logistics
  • customer service oriented
  • teamwork and leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • Solicit and respond to customer inquiries regarding food and beverage, meeting space, and ancillary services
  • search for new business opportunities and qualify leads
  • negotiate, create, and execute proposals and agreements for meeting rooms, services, and food and beverage
  • develop strategies to meet or exceed established goals
  • maximize revenues and control expenses through effective negotiation and accurate forecasting
  • create banquet event orders, banquet checks, diagrams, estimates, and related documentation
  • ring banquet checks, collect deposits and payments, and balance client accounts
  • communicate details to departments and team members for event execution
  • conduct property tours to promote facilities and services
  • ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • respond promptly and efficiently to internal and external requests
  • participate in relevant internal and external meetings
  • update Delphi system with client documents, communications, and financial information
  • perform other duties as assigned or required
