Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of hospitality-related experience at manager level
- familiarity with Delphi property management system
- experience in hotel sales or catering, or private events sales
- strong negotiation skills
- proven sales ability
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of hospitality-related experience at manager level
- knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- hotel sales or catering experience preferred
- sales experience in private events or country clubs is a plus
- strong negotiation and closing skills
- sales savvy
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop strategies to maximize revenue
- proficiency in event planning and logistics
- customer service oriented
- teamwork and leadership abilities
Job Duties
- Solicit and respond to customer inquiries regarding food and beverage, meeting space, and ancillary services
- search for new business opportunities and qualify leads
- negotiate, create, and execute proposals and agreements for meeting rooms, services, and food and beverage
- develop strategies to meet or exceed established goals
- maximize revenues and control expenses through effective negotiation and accurate forecasting
- create banquet event orders, banquet checks, diagrams, estimates, and related documentation
- ring banquet checks, collect deposits and payments, and balance client accounts
- communicate details to departments and team members for event execution
- conduct property tours to promote facilities and services
- ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- respond promptly and efficiently to internal and external requests
- participate in relevant internal and external meetings
- update Delphi system with client documents, communications, and financial information
- perform other duties as assigned or required
