Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum one year of hotel experience in catering and events
  • Experience in luxury guest experience training
  • Delphi and Amadeus diagramming experience required
  • Knowledge of meeting room capacities, banquet set-up, audio-visual, and function room details preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Pleasant disposition and professional appearance
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to function under time constraints and deadlines
  • Experience in fast-paced, busy, and stressful environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of hotel experience in catering and events
  • Experience in luxury guest experience training

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Participate in daily departmental operations including reporting, training, distribution, change log, daily BEO meeting, daily events
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for department operations
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate departments
  • Filter and input inquiries into Amadeus and assign accordingly
  • Assist team in providing service levels for maximum profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Assist in preparing for site visits, pre-planning meetings, in-house events, special events, pre-cons and post-cons
  • Assist in generating catering, wedding, social catering and event prospectus, contracts and event orders
  • Prepare for group arrivals including transfers, amenities, affiliates, VIPs, group resume, room inspections, restaurant and spa reservations, banquet event orders
  • Provide ideas for departmental improvement and adapt to changing environment
  • Follow Fontainebleau Las Vegas policies, procedures and SOPs
  • Audit office management and keep supplies stocked
  • Support Wedding and Event Managers in creating and developing wedding packages
  • Collaborate with vendors for décor, entertainment, floral, photography, graphics
  • Consult and confer with clients on wedding inquiries including venue details and execution
  • Perform additional duties as necessary
