Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional sales experience preferably in catering, venues, or private dining
- Preferably experience in an equivalent role
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus
- Strong communication skills via email, phone and face-to-face
- Naturally wired to follow through and close open loops
- Extremely detail-oriented with accuracy in scheduling and data entry
- Tech-savvy and confident with new software
- Must have a reliable personal computer for cloud-based CRM and video calls
- At least 21 years old
- Must have open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working approximately 45 hours per week
- Valid driver’s license and sole access to personal vehicle
- Familiarity with Pipedrive, Toast, and Total Party Planner considered a plus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in catering, venue, or private dining sales
- Experience in a similar or equivalent role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field is a major plus
- Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on tasks
- Proficient with technology and comfortable using new software systems
- Reliable personal computer suitable for professional use
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle
- Familiarity with Pipedrive, Toast, and Total Party Planner software is advantageous
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Manage client communication promptly and professionally
- Develop new business by reaching out to past and potential clients
- Maintain a calendar full of booked events without leaving dates open
- Keep the CRM system updated with accurate and real-time information
- Ensure seamless handoffs to operations for event execution
- Build relationships with vendors and community to generate referrals
- Adapt to evolving responsibilities in a growing company
