Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years experience in food service or event management
- large-scale cooking experience
- current or ability to obtain ServSafe Manager certification within 30 days
- strong leadership and communication skills
- excellent time management
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- physical ability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and push/pull items
- proficiency with computer and scheduling systems
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- associate's or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- 5-7 years experience in food service or event management with large-scale cooking experience
- current ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- strong leadership and communication skills
- excellent time management and organizational abilities
- ability to collaborate with diverse staff and clientele
- flexible and solution-oriented
- proficiency with basic computer and digital communication tools
- ability to manage event management software
Job Duties
- Develop and execute annual marketing and communications plans
- manage all aspects of client relations including inquiries, bookings, and follow-up
- plan and coordinate menu design, service standards, and quality control
- lead event setup, teardown, and cleaning in collaboration with other teams
- coordinate event logistics such as room layouts, timelines, and staffing
- supervise, train, and evaluate catering and event team members
- monitor budgets, track revenue, and manage expenses
- maintain ServSafe Manager certification and ensure compliance with food safety procedures
- oversee inventory control and minimize food waste
- ensure compliance with health regulations and prepare for inspections
- ensure creative and professional event presentation
- continuously assess and improve event layouts and guest experience
- attend meetings and support organizational improvement efforts
- perform other duties as assigned
