Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in catering or event management
- Proven track record of successful event planning and sales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations for events
- Oversee all phases of event preparation from menu development to execution
- Coordinate activities of various departments to service accounts
- Assist and work with the Director of Catering and Convention Services in sales activities related to the Catering Sales Marketing Plan
- Ensure timely distribution of event details such as Banquet Event Orders and change logs
- Assist sales staff in promoting the hotel, developing leads, and securing rebooking
- Conduct tours of the hotel and banquet facilities and entertain qualified potential clients
- Address issues and challenges to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service
