Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred
  • Creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of food, beverage, and event management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and effectively sell services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Professional presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Crush sales and satisfaction targets including meeting planner scores and food and beverage sales
  • Build strong client relationships through phone communication, property tours, and exceptional service
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities
  • Plan and execute catering and convention events ensuring all details and changes are managed smoothly
  • Represent the hotel at local events and promotions to enhance community presence
  • Collaborate with sales and catering directors to achieve revenue and sales goals
  • Manage food and beverage sales goals and service for assigned properties
