Job Qualifications
- 2 plus years experience working as an administrative assistant or similar position
- 2 plus years experience working in a hotel or conference environment preferred
- proficient skill using standard business software such as microsoft office suite
- proficient in hospitality sales software such as delphi
- ability to collaborate with colleagues and work cooperatively as part of a team
- ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner
- ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
- ability to prioritize assignments amid changing workload and deadlines
- skill in performing basic bookkeeping transactions
- skill in writing grammatically correct business english including reports and correspondence
- skill in operating a 10-key calculator by touch
- skill in analyzing operating procedures and recommending changes
- ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
Job Duties
- Provide administrative support to the sales and events team
- manage hospitality sales system database accounts
- coordinate event bookings and logistics
- execute and coordinate data and generate reports
- support the Director of Catering & Conference Services
- communicate effectively with clients and team members
- ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
