Job Duties
- greet guests and determine the number of group members
- seat guests by offering clean and available tables, setting menus and removing chairs
- guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery for special group requirements
- ensure appropriate cutlery and napkins are provided for each guest
- check menus for cleanliness, completeness and currency
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using constant cleaning procedures
- monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions and complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company property
- greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with team members and handle phone calls using proper protocol
- foster positive working relationships and support team goals
- ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations
- stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- move or lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
