Job Requirements
- Act 34 clearance
- Work permit if under 18
- Ability to accurately count and perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to work opening and closing shifts including weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Adherence to cash handling policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior Starbucks experience highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use Point of Service system
- Previous cashier experience preferred
Job Duties
- Welcome questions and educate guests
- Make espresso drinks and other Starbucks beverages delivered in less than three minutes
- Operate espresso machine and Digital Production Manager
- Identify each drink and delivery
- Perform cleaning tasks according to store standards
- Follow cash handling procedures and policies
- Contribute to store profitability and sales goals
- Demonstrate the Starbucks experience
- Offer customer demonstrations and samples
- Discover customer needs and suggest products
- Prepare and produce drinks to Starbucks standards
- Keep guest areas clean
- Respond to customer needs and thank customers
- Demonstrate Just Say Yes behavior by taking care of customer needs
- Follow store policy and procedures
