Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business management, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • knowledge of poker and California games required
  • comprehensive knowledge of table games yield management
  • ten years of experience in the gaming industry
  • four years in a casino management role
  • able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
  • able to pass mandatory screenings including background, credit check, and drug test
  • able to obtain a key license through the California Gambling Control Commission and city license
  • physical ability to walk and stand constantly
  • ability to work in noisy environments

Job Qualifications

  • ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management
  • strong knowledge of all casino table games
  • minimum 10 years casino games experience
  • minimum 4 years managerial experience in a casino manager role
  • experience in handling and issuing credit
  • ability to work any shift and multitask
  • able to pass background, credit check, and drug test screenings
  • able to obtain a key license through the California Gambling Control Commission and city license
  • detailed knowledge of all games operated at the casino
  • computer skills including email, presentations, application software, and databases
  • strong organizational and verbal communication skills
  • excellent customer relations skills
  • knowledge and experience of gaming laws, regulations, policies, and procedures or ability to learn within probation period
  • ability to present information and respond to questions effectively

Job Duties

  • oversee all cardroom operations and ensure gaming processes comply with core values and regulations
  • manage company assets, rules, and policies related to gaming and casino credit activities during shifts
  • review budgets and supervise gaming schedules to accommodate guests
  • analyze gaming percentages, comps, and casino marketing activities
  • manage team members with performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • identify critical positions and develop promotion plans for team members
  • provide training and ensure team members have proper tools and safety measures
  • oversee fair dealer rotation practices
  • implement and monitor player tracking and rewards systems
  • ensure full compliance with gaming and Title 31 regulations
  • compile and submit necessary gaming reports
  • resolve customer complaints according to casino standards
  • coordinate purchase of gaming equipment and supplies
  • ensure proper functioning and tamper-free status of gaming equipment
  • assess business levels to optimize game play
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
