Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business management, hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in casino games
- Minimum 4 years experience in a casino manager role
- Knowledge of poker and California games required
- Ability to work any shift and handle multiple tasks
- Able to pass background, credit and drug screenings
- Able to obtain key license through California Gambling Control Commission and city license
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency with relevant software
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and best practices
- Physical ability to perform job duties including constant walking and standing
- Ability to work in noisy environments
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
- Strong knowledge of all casino table games
- Minimum of 10 years casino games experience
- Minimum 4 years managerial experience in a casino manager role
- Experience in handling and issuing credit
- Ability to work any shift and handle multiple tasks
- Able to pass mandatory screening including background, credit check and drug test
- Able to obtain a key license through California Gambling Control Commission and a city license
- Possess detailed knowledge of all games operated at the casino
- Computer skills to use email, presentations, application software and databases
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Knowledge or capability to learn best practices, laws, regulations, policies and procedures specific to the gaming industry
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team, managers or upper management
Job Duties
- Oversee all cardroom operations and ensure gaming processes meet quality standards and regulations
- Responsible for company assets, rules, policies and procedures related to gaming and casino credit activity
- Review budgets and supervise gaming schedules to accommodate guests
- Analyze gaming percentages, comps and casino marketing activities
- Manage team members including performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and discipline
- Identify critical positions and develop action plans for team growth
- Ensure team members have proper tools and training
- Oversee dealer rotation and gaming practices fairly
- Implement and monitor Player Tracking and Rewards Systems
- Ensure compliance with gaming and Title 31 regulations
- Compile and submit state and local gaming reports
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Coordinate purchase of gaming equipment and supplies
- Monitor equipment functionality and report repair needs
- Assess business levels to optimize gameplay
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
