Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum six months cleaning experience
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and push or pull up to 150 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least six months experience in a related cleaning field
- Previous experience with a large hotel preferred
- At least six months guest contact experience
- Knowledge of general cleaning supplies
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Duties
- Practice and promote Company and Departmental Service Standards
- Clean and detail all areas including floors and high surfaces
- Stand, bend, stoop, and reach for prolonged periods during cleaning
- Lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull up to 150 lbs
- Replenish supplies in supply closets
- Clean and polish marble, brass, tile, and vinyl floors using various techniques and chemicals
- Clean and dust slot machines
- Use and dispose of cleaning chemicals properly
- Maintain equipment and supplies orderly
- Clean and detail restrooms including floors, toilets, walls, and mirrors
- Vacuum carpets, mats, dust shelves and cabinets, wipe walls and baseboards, clean windows and mirrors
- Provide detailed cleaning of public areas and remove gum
- Remove trash from assigned areas
- Report maintenance needs, emergency repairs, suspicious activity to supervisor or security
- Provide directions and quality guest service
- Perform other duties as assigned
