Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six plus months of prior relevant general cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Prior relevant general cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally to guest inquiries and challenges
Job Duties
- Sweep and remove wrappers broken glass ashtrays and debris from floor
- Clean and dust slot machines including areas between machines doors and woodwork
- Remove scuffmarks and drink spills
- Clean up biohazard areas
- Clean slot chairs polish their bases and return chairs to proper position
- Vacuum entire assigned stations moving chairs and other objects to ensure thorough cleaning
- Remove trash replace missing ashtrays and wipe out and clean all ashtrays and trash cans
- Ensure all equipment is returned to department and report malfunctioning equipment
- Replenish supplies when necessary
- Respond to and resolve guest challenges in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate recognize evaluate and resolve potential difficulties
