Job Requirements

  • Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • present oneself positively and professionally
  • tolerate noise levels and varying air quality
  • withstand prolonged standing and mobility
  • perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • use standard office equipment
  • maintain eye/hand coordination
  • distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • handle smoke exposure
  • communicate effectively with guests and management

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • must obtain and maintain TAM/Alcohol Awareness card
  • must obtain and maintain Southern Nevada Food Handlers Card
  • must obtain and maintain Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Work Card or Nevada Gaming License
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months experience in a similar role in high-volume customer service
  • one year experience in a resort setting
  • bilingual with English as primary or secondary language
  • knowledge of beverages including wine and champagne
  • familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • experience with Point of Sale devices
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of proper service techniques

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously
  • take guest orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately
  • prepare and stock service areas including folding napkins and restocking glassware
  • complete opening and closing duties ensuring clean and organized stations
  • handle cash transactions following proper procedures
  • place orders and garnish cocktails for guests
  • maintain cleanliness of tables, slot banks, and work areas
  • respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints within authority
  • report unusual events or theft to management
  • perform other assigned duties
