Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cashiering or heavy money handling experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions promptly and accurately
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment effectively
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate in English
- Must possess basic mathematical skills for handling money and gaming chips accurately
- Ability to safely perform physical duties including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to qualify for necessary licenses and permits
- Must adhere to all regulatory, department, and company policies
- Available to work in a noisy environment with exposure to tobacco smoke
- Must maintain appropriate grooming, appearance, and attendance standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cashiering or heavy money handling experience preferred
- Ability to promptly and accurately follow leadership instructions
- Proficient in operating computers, computer software, copy machines, printers, and other office equipment
- Ability to read and interpret English-language documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to count money and gaming chips accurately and make change
- Familiarity with operating adding machines and basic computer operations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions
- Eligible to obtain licenses and permits as required by federal, state, and local regulations
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service through the consistent delivery of Red Carpet Customer Service to guests and team members
- Process cash transactions accurately for casino customers
- Comply with Title 31 regulations at all times
- Enroll patrons into Players Club, issue Players Club cards, and maintain accurate player tracking information
- Assist the Marketing Department with casino promotions
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette
- Cash customer checks and verify guest information for accuracy
- Balance cash drawers ensuring appropriate impressed amounts at the start and end of shifts
- Perform cash buys with the main bank to keep drawers stocked for current and following shifts
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to transactions
- Adhere to department uniform, grooming, and appearance requirements
- Meet attendance guidelines and follow company, department, and regulatory policies
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Perform all job duties safely and responsibly
- Attend all department meetings and training sessions as required
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
