Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
  • Must be able to communicate well with the public while maintaining self-confident position
  • One-year previous United States currency money handling work experience preferred
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when the business needs warrant
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position

Job Duties

  • Execute all cage cashier functions including cash drawer balancing and impressing
  • Perform check cashing and counter check transactions
  • Assist customers with check cashing and front money or credit applications
  • Process transactions accurately and maintain reconciliations
  • Exchange chips for cash and slot tickets for cash
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls of the state gaming agency
  • Prepare wire transfer transactions
  • Process cash advances
  • Issue Total Rewards Cards
  • Complete Currency Transactions Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs
  • Clean and wash chips
