Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid food handler card
- Serve Safe Certificate
- TIPS Alcohol Certification
- Ability to work independently and make ethical decisions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience helpful
- High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
- Must have a valid food handler card
- Must have Serve Safe Certificate
- Must have TIPS Alcohol Certification
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to make educated ethical decisions
- Effective communication skills with all levels of employees
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, and procedures
- General knowledge of Windows-based computer operating systems
Job Duties
- Provide assistance to the bartender
- Stock and refill alcoholic beverages, liquor, ice, condiments and snacks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing bar glasses in accordance with health department rules and regulations
- Assume duties of bartender during breaks or absences
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with department and company policy
- Politely greet all customers
- Communicate effectively with bartenders as to bar needs
